Are there any other non-gendered words to refer to someone that you’re in a somewhat romantic relationship with?
Significant other? Special person? These phrases don’t solely refer to romantic relationships, but they’re most often assumed to.
I use personfriend. It’s fun to say, gender-neutral and follows the same pattern as girl-/boyfriend.
